University of Isfahan Co-organized Africa-Isfahan Scientific Collaboration Event to Bolster Global Partnerships

On December 20, 2023, the University of Isfahan co-organized a significant event aimed at promoting economic, scientific, and technological collaborations between Isfahan and Africa. The event took place at the international conference hall of Isfahan City Center and was attended by dignitaries from various African countries, including Niger, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Guinea, Mali, Senegal, Zimbabwe, and the CEO of Burkina Faso’s National Housing and Property Company.


The morning session of the event was dedicated to discussing economic and commercial collaborations, where the guests introduced their respective countries and potential capacities and capabilities. The afternoon session, initiated by a speech from Professor Hersij, the president of the University of Isfahan, focused on the opportunities for scientific and technological collaboration between the Isfahan Universities Network (University of Isfahan, Isahan University of Technology, Isfahan Scientific and Technology Town, Isfahan University of Medical Science, and Art University of Isfahan), and African universities.
Following this, the international relations directors from each member university of the IUN network, showcased their institutions’ capacities and capabilities. An exhibition, held in conjunction with the conference, displayed the economic, commercial, scientific, and technological capabilities of these institutions.
