Established in 2018, the Faculty of Biological Science and Technology at the University of Isfahan emerged from the merger of two distinguished departments—the Department of Biology (founded in 1965) and the Department of Biotechnology Engineering (founded in 2008). Today, the faculty stands as one of Iran's premier biological and biotechnological research centers, boasting over 40 faculty members engaged in diverse research fields.
