The Silkroad Universities Network (SUN) is a prominent international consortium comprising more than 80 universities from over 30 countries across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Inspired by the historic Silk Road, the network is dedicated to fostering academic cooperation, intercultural dialogue, and sustainable development through higher education. SUN focuses on a wide range of thematic areas, including engineering and technology, energy and sustainability, cultural heritage, tourism, medicine, and the social sciences, providing a multidisciplinary platform for collaboration among its members.
