University of Isfahan Stands Out at 17th “Movement Festival”

The University of Isfahan’s delegation marked the conclusion of the 17th International Movement Festival, held at Gilan University, by securing three prestigious awards during the final ceremony.

Hosted by Gilan University in November 2024, this year's festival operated under the theme "Moving Towards a Leap in Science and Technology" and is recognized as the largest student scientific gathering in the country. The event features competitive and exhibition sections, where outstanding projects from universities across Iran are showcased, and finalists compete for top honors.

This year, over 400 students from 110 universities participated, highlighting the vibrant atmosphere of academic collaboration. The seven-member delegation from the University of Isfahan included Fahimeh Javani, a scientific association expert, and six active student members of the scientific associations from engineering, humanities, and basic sciences.

The University of Isfahan's exhibition booth received tremendous interest from visitors, including high-profile officials. They engaged with the university’s achievements in the realm of scientific associations.

In the competitive segment, the "Movement Platform" category recognized the top scientific associations among more than 8,000 active associations across universities. The university proudly recorded another achievement in its honors book, with the Biology Association, led by Navid Shahnam, winning in the "Best Association" category; the Mathematics and Computer Science Association, headed by Maryam Rezaei and Amin Masoudi, receiving accolades in the digital content production category; and the Psychology Association, led by Zahra Rezaei, also recognized in the same category.
