Celebrating Excellence: Computer Engineering Department Excels at the21st International Cryptography Conference

The21st International Cryptography Conference, focusing on information security and cryptography, was held on October17-18,2024, hosted by Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran in collaboration with the Research Institute for Communications and Information Technology. The event aimed to synergize knowledge and disseminate innovative findings in the field of information security and cryptography.

Dr. Maryam Azadmanesh's thesis, supervised by Dr. Shahgholi-Qahferakhi and Dr. Maedeh Ashouri-Talooki, was recognized as an outstanding thesis.

Additionally, the Cryptography Scientific Association of the Computer Engineering Department received commendation in the student branch of the Iranian Cryptography Association.

Moreover, Dr. Reza Ramazani, a faculty member of the Computer Engineering Department, was honored as the top reviewer for the Journal of Computer Security (JCS).

The conference also served as a platform for networking among professors, researchers, industry professionals, and managers, facilitating discussions on scientific and practical challenges related to securing the information exchange landscape in our country.
