This department started its independent educational activities when the Department of Geography was separated from the Faculty of Literature in 2010. This department is currently admitting students to B.A, M.A and PhD programs in the following subdisciplines:
· B.A in Physical Geography
· M.A in Climatology with the subdisciplines of 1. Agricultural Climatology 2. Synoptic Climatology
· M.A in Geomorphology with the subdiscipline of Hydrogeomorphology
· M.A in Medical Geography
· PhD in Climatology with the subdisciplines of 1. Agricultural Climatology 2. Synoptic Climatology
· PhD in Geomorphology
