One of the key factors in proper planning and policy making is the pathology of the status quo in order to move towards the favorable status. Therefore, the cultural research and studies aimed at enhancing the socio-cultural status of the University seems indispensable. The main activities of the Unit include the development of the Strategic Plan of the University of Isfahan based on the superior cultural documents like the Horizon of 1404's Vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Document of the Islamic University, Iran Cultural Engineering Map, Comprehensive Scientific Map of Iran, and the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan.
